If you plan to start a radio station in Australia, you will need to obtain a license from the office of Australian Communications & Media Authority (ACMA) which issues icenses, regulates the radio stations and manages the radio frequency spectrum in Australia.
To obtain a license, you need to apply to ACMA using the prescrib License application which can be obtained from the main office or several reagional offices which are located at:

Obtaining a license for starting a radio station in Australia is a bit dfiicult in the main urban centers where there is a lot of competition for access to limited frquency availability. However, it is relatively easier to obtain licneses in semi urban centers provided the applicant puts up a deserving license application.
