If you plan to start a radio station in Australia, you will need to obtain a license from the office of Australian Communications & Media Authority (ACMA) which issues licenses, regulates the radio stations and manages the radio frequency spectrum in Australia.

Obtaining a license for starting a radio station in Australia is a bit difficult in the main urban centers where there is a lot of competition for access to limited frequency availability.
